welcome to Rachel’s macarons!
Hi! My name is Rachel Klein and it’s so nice to meet you! While I have always loved baking, I was fortunate to have a successful career as a pharmacist for many years. My macaron journey started after I took a break from pharmacy to spend more time at home with my family. In between bottle feedings and school projects, I experimented more and more until I perfected my macarons. With lots of encouragement from friends and family, I finally opened my own French macaron business from my home in 2018. It has been a pleasure servicing my local community here in Chicago with delicious, home-made, kosher macarons and I hope to continue to do so for many more years! While I do not currently have a hashgacha, I hope to work with the CRC in the near future to get one. This has been an exciting journey so far into the world of French patisserie and I can’t wait to see the evolution of the business as I continue to spread more macaron love, one macaron at a time!
